Michael Becce, President and CEO
Mr. Becce founded MRB Public Relations in 1992 and continues a hands-on approach with each of MRB's client base. Becce has been quoted in leading publications including the Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Forbes, Entrepreneur, Success, PR Week, and BusinessWeek. He is also a distinguished writer with nearly one hundred stories published in leading business, technology and marketing publications. Deemed "My Favorite Flack" in Sam Whitmore's Media Survey, Becce has enjoyed a powerful reputation with influential media by providing valuable information and assistance with story development. Becce has launched a crusade to help the PR industry clean up its image. He is a frequent speaker at colleges and universities around the country.
Michael Becce began his career at Saatchi & Saatchi, New York, where he worked both corporate and client public relations. He then went on to Trent & Co., New York where he gained a wide range of experience publicizing consumer products, business-to-business products and services, and personalities. Becce has helped numerous startups off the ground, as well as consulted for many leading organizations including Microsoft, IBM, Intel, the U.S. State Department, CNN, Coldwell Banker, NASA, Unisys, and many others. He is a member of the CEO Council, Computer Press Association, IDC Mobile Advisory Council, CMP Channel Advisory Council and the New Jersey PR Roundtable. Becce is also the chairman of ROI Group, a leading investor relations company in New York City.
Janine Savarese, Vice President
Vice President of MRB Public Relations, Janine Savarese has worked on a variety of accounts including technology, financial services, business-to-business, healthcare and consumer. Prior to joining MRB, Ms. Savarese was a Managing Director of RF|Binder Partners, part of The Ruder Finn Group specializing in high-level media exposure.
Ms. Savarese ran the agencies top accounts including MphasiS, Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals, Standard & Poor’s, The McGraw-Hill Companies and XO Communications. Ms. Savarese also led major program initiatives for Bank of America, Splenda and Viactiv. Prior to the formation of RF|Binder Partners, Ms. Savarese was a Vice President in the Corporate Technology & Public Affairs group of Ruder Finn. She has also managed accounts including Akamai, Symbol, Informio, Fort Point Partners, Telecom Wireless Solutions (TWS), Call Sciences, CosmoCom, and AccuWeather. She received a B.A. in Spanish Studies with a concentration in Communications from Fordham University. |
